There were runs aplenty on Saturday, as Kingwood Mavericks 9U defeated Texas Poison 9U 15-6.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U got things moving in the first inning.

Texas Poison 9U scored three runs in the third inning. Texas Poison 9U scored its runs on a single by Bier.

Kyler B pitched Kingwood Mavericks 9U to victory. He surrendered three runs on two hits over two innings, striking out three. Carter W threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Bier took the loss for Texas Poison 9U. He went four innings, allowing 15 runs on six hits and striking out three.

Chase S started the game for Kingwood Mavericks 9U. He surrendered one run on zero hits over one inning, striking out two

Kyler led Kingwood Mavericks 9U with three hits in three at bats. Hudson V led Kingwood Mavericks 9U with five stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 14 stolen bases. An early lead helped Kingwood Mavericks 9U defeat Conroe Savages Blue 8U 5-2 on Saturday. Kingwood Mavericks 9U scored on a walk by Kyler B and an error in the first inning.

Finn D was the winning pitcher for Kingwood Mavericks 9U. He allowed one hit and one run over three and a third innings, striking out four. Patrick D threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Patrick recorded the last two outs to earn the save for Kingwood Mavericks 9U.

Joseph took the loss for Conroe Savages Blue 8U. He surrendered five runs on five hits over three innings, striking out one.

Will S, Bryant M, Patrick, Ty E, and Finn each managed one hit to lead Kingwood Mavericks 9U. Kingwood Mavericks 9U didn’t commit a single error in the field. Tucker G had seven chances in the field, the most on the team. Kingwood Mavericks 9U tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Chase S led the way with three.

Issiah led Conroe Savages Blue 8U with one hit in two at bats.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U seized victory in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off error at the end of the game to topple Scorpions Team Easton (Black) 9U. The game was tied at seven with Kingwood Mavericks 9U batting in the bottom of the fourth when an error scored one run for Kingwood Mavericks 9U.

Despite falling down by four runs in the third inning, Scorpions Team Easton (Black) 9U tried to fight back. Scorpions Team Easton (Black) 9U scored six runs in the failed comeback on a error, a error, a, and a walk by Noah R.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U opened up scoring in the first inning.

Chase S got the win for Kingwood Mavericks 9U. He surrendered zero runs on zero hits over one-third of an inning, walking zero. Carter W threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Stockton O took the loss for Scorpions Team Easton (Black) 9U. He went one and one-third innings, allowing four runs on two hits and striking out two.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U defeated Scorpions Team Easton (Black) 9U 8-7 on Monday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at five with Kingwood Mavericks 9U batting in the bottom of the fourth when Bryant M drew a walk, scoring one run.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U built a four-run lead in the second inning and then held off Scorpions Team Easton (Black) 9U’s charge. Scorpions Team Easton (Black) 9U scored five runs in the failed comeback on a groundout by Stockton O in the third, a single by Case S in the fourth, a wild pitch by Jaxon C in the fourth, and a double by Kevin P in the fifth.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U fired up the offense in the first inning, when Tucker G drew a walk, scoring one run.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U put up four runs in the second inning. Kingwood Mavericks 9U batters contributing to the big inning included Bryant, Will S, and Kyler B, all driving in runs in the frame.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U stayed in it until the end, but Conroe Savages Red Savages 9U pulled away late in a 10-9 victory on Monday. The game was tied at eight with Conroe Savages Red Savages 9U batting in the bottom of the fourth when an error scored one run for Conroe Savages Red Savages 9U.

Despite the loss, Kingwood Mavericks 9U did collect six hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Conroe Savages Red Savages 9U had four hits on the way to victory.

Conroe Savages Red Savages 9U got things started in the first inning. Bentley G drove in two when he singled.
