Saturday’s game against Brazos Valley Bucks 9U was a heartbreaker for Kingwood Mavericks 9U, as they lost the lead late in a 7-6 defeat. The game was tied at two with Brazos Valley Bucks 9U batting in the top of the third when Mason F drew a walk, scoring one run.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U lost despite out-hitting Brazos Valley Bucks 9U five to three.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U scored eight runs in the second on its way to a 14-3 victory over The Baseball Club-Wranglers- 9u on Sunday. Reid P, Kyler B, Mason G, Tucker G, Ty E, and Carter W each had RBIs in the big inning.

In the first inning, Kingwood Mavericks 9U got their offense started when Kyler doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U scored eight runs in the second inning. The offensive onslaught came from singles by Reid and Mason, an error on a ball put in play by Tucker and Ty, a walk by Hudson V, a sacrifice fly by Kyler, and a groundout by Carter.

Chase S was the winning pitcher for Kingwood Mavericks 9U. Chase allowed three hits and one run over two innings, striking out three and walking zero. Will S threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Beltran took the loss for The Baseball Club-Wranglers- 9u. Beltran surrendered four runs on two hits over two-thirds of an inning.

Mason, Hudson, Chase, Reid, Ty, and Kyler each collected one hit to lead Kingwood Mavericks 9U. Kingwood Mavericks 9U tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Hudson led the way with five.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U wins contest against Brazos Valley Bucks 9U on Sunday, 4-1

Kingwood Mavericks 9U tallied three runs in the third inning. Will S had an RBI stolen base in the inning to lead the run scoring.

Kyler B pitched Kingwood Mavericks 9U to victory. Kyler allowed one hit and zero runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out six. Will threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen. Will recorded the last seven outs to earn the save for Kingwood Mavericks 9U.

Garrett V took the loss for Brazos Valley Bucks 9U. Garrett lasted two innings, allowing one hit and four runs while striking out one.

Reid P went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Kingwood Mavericks 9U in hits. Kingwood Mavericks 9U stole 13 bases during the game as five players stole more than one. Reid led the way with three.

Major N led Brazos Valley Bucks 9U with one hit in two at bats. Brazos Valley Bucks 9U was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Greyson P made the most plays with 12.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 15-7 loss to Sienna Knights 9U on Sunday. Sienna Knights 9U scored on a groundout by Ethan M, a single by Aaron G, and a groundout by Kyle H in the first inning.

Despite the loss, Kingwood Mavericks 9U did collect four hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Sienna Knights 9U had nine hits on the way to victory.

Sienna Knights 9U fired up the offense in the first inning. Ethan grounded out, scoring one run.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U put up three runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught came from a single by Patrick D and by Carter W.

Sienna Knights 9U scored four runs in the second inning. Jacob R, Colby S, and Ethan each had RBIs in the frame.

Colby earned the victory on the hill for Sienna Knights 9U. Colby allowed two hits and four runs over three innings, striking out four. Austin M threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
