Both pitching staffs had their hands full on Saturday in a high-scoring affair where Hardball Crew 10U bested Kingwood Mavericks 10U, 8-6.

Kingwood Mavericks 10U captured the lead in the first inning. Kyler B drove in two when Kyler singled.

Hardball Crew 10U took the lead for good with five runs in the second inning. In the second Chase V singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs, Chiram A doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs, and Jarrett T doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.

JoJo A led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Hardball Crew 10U. JoJo.

Ty E toed the rubber for Kingwood Mavericks 10U. The pitcher surrendered six runs on seven hits over one and one-third innings, striking out two and walking one. Mason G threw two and a third innings out of the bullpen.

Cade C went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Kingwood Mavericks 10U in hits. Kingwood Mavericks 10U didn’t commit a single error in the field. Patrick D had the most chances in the field with seven.

Hardball Crew 10U collected ten hits. Jarrett, Chase, Callen R, and Chiram each collected multiple hits for Hardball Crew 10U.

Kingwood Mavericks 10U fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 9-5 loss to Premier Ryan 10u on Saturday. Premier Ryan 10u scored on a single by Easten B, a single by Alden G, and a single by Player in the first inning.

Premier Ryan 10u got things moving in the first inning, when Easten singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Premier Ryan 10u scored four runs in the fourth inning. Isaiah R, Kannon T, and Austin G each had RBIs in the big inning.

Alden was credited with the victory for Premier Ryan 10u. The ace went one inning, allowing one run on three hits and walking zero. Isaiah threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Finn D took the loss for Kingwood Mavericks 10U. The lefty lasted two innings, allowing six hits and four runs while striking out two and walking zero.

Kendall C started the game for Premier Ryan 10u. The righty allowed five hits and three runs over three innings, striking out three and walking one

Kingwood Mavericks 10U totaled nine hits in the game. Ty E and Kyler B each racked up multiple hits for Kingwood Mavericks 10U. Kyler and Ty each collected two hits to lead Kingwood Mavericks 10U. Kingwood Mavericks 10U didn’t commit a single error in the field. Finn had two chances in the field, the most on the team. Ty led Kingwood Mavericks 10U with four stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with eight stolen bases.

Premier Ryan 10u scattered ten hits in the game. Pierce R, Kannon, and Player all collected multiple hits for Premier Ryan 10u.

Kingwood Mavericks 10U watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 10-2 loss to South County Mavericks 10U on Sunday. South County Mavericks 10U scored on a triple by Carson S and a stolen base by Dylan F in the first inning.

The Kingwood Mavericks 10U struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing South County Mavericks 10U, giving up ten runs.

In the first inning, South County Mavericks 10U got their offense started when Carson tripled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

Greyson F led things off on the mound for South County Mavericks 10U. The ace surrendered two runs on seven hits over four innings, striking out one.

Tucker G toed the rubber for Kingwood Mavericks 10U. The righthander allowed three hits and five runs over one and one-third innings, striking out one. Carter W and Finn D entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one and one-third innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

Kyler B led Kingwood Mavericks 10U with two hits in two at bats.

Carson went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead South County Mavericks 10U in hits. South County Mavericks 10U stole eight bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Hunter G led the way with two.
