Kingwood Mavericks 9U stole the lead late in the game in an 11-9 victory over Texas Twelve 9u Silver on Saturday. Kingwood Mavericks 9U was down 6-5 in the top of the third inning when Tucker G drew a walk, scoring one run.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U earned the victory despite allowing Texas Twelve 9u Silver to score five runs in the second inning. Madden C, Aidan R, Luke J, and Austin C all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U opened up scoring in the first inning, when Chase S grounded out, scoring one run.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U tallied four runs in the second inning. Kingwood Mavericks 9U’s offense in the inning came from an error on a ball put in play by Finn D and Will S and by Ty E.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U’s two pitchers didn’t allow a single hit, as Kingwood Mavericks 9U defeated Texas Poison Green 9-5 on Saturday. Patrick D struck out Chapman to get the last out of the game.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U earned the victory despite allowing Texas Poison Green to score three runs in the fourth inning. Chapman, Adkinson, and Sowell each had RBIs in the frame.

Texas Poison Green opened up scoring in the first inning. Chapman grounded out, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the first inning, Kingwood Mavericks 9U tied things up at one.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U pulled away for good with five runs in the second inning. In the second Adkinson’s wild pitch allowed one run to score for Kingwood Mavericks 9U, Chase S drew a walk, scoring one run, Kyler B singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, and Tucker G doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

Finn D was the winning pitcher for Kingwood Mavericks 9U. The lefthander surrendered four runs on zero hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out eight. Patrick threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Adkinson took the loss for Texas Poison Green. The pitcher lasted one-third of an inning, allowing one hit and three runs.

Kyler, Patrick, Ty E, Tucker, and Will S each collected one hit to lead Kingwood Mavericks 9U. Kingwood Mavericks 9U stole 16 bases during the game as five players stole more than one. Chase led the way with four.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 13-5 loss to Premier Baseball 9U Ryan on Sunday. Premier Baseball 9U Ryan scored on a single by Alden, a single by Kaleb, a passed ball during Pierce’s at bat, and a wild pitch during Cannon’s at bat in the first inning.

The Kingwood Mavericks 9U struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Premier Baseball 9U Ryan, giving up 13 runs.

Premier Baseball 9U Ryan opened up scoring in the first inning. Premier Baseball 9U Ryan scored one run when Alden singled.

Jonathan was credited with the victory for Premier Baseball 9U Ryan. The ace surrendered four runs on three hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two.

Kyler B took the loss for Kingwood Mavericks 9U. The pitcher went three innings, allowing ten runs on seven hits, striking out three and walking zero.

Tucker G led Kingwood Mavericks 9U with two hits in two at bats. Tucker led Kingwood Mavericks 9U with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with seven stolen bases.
