Kingwood Mavericks 9U’s two pitchers didn’t allow a single hit, as Kingwood Mavericks 9U defeated Spring Four-Five 14-2 on Sunday. Carter W struck out #10 to get the last out of the game.

In the bottom of the second inning, Spring Four-Five tied things up at two.
Kingwood Mavericks 9U pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Mason G drew a walk, scoring one run and Tucker G singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U tallied six runs in the fifth inning. The offensive firepower by Kingwood Mavericks 9U was led by Patrick D, Wyatt L, Will S, Carter, and Mason, who all drove in runs.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U managed through a push by Katy Crushers in the fourth inning where Kingwood Mavericks 9U coughed up three runs, but Kingwood Mavericks 9U still won 13-3 on Sunday. Katy Crushers’s big inning was driven by doubles by #0 and #35 and a groundout by #4.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the second inning. The big inning was thanks to singles by Wyatt L, Carter W, and Finn D, an error on a ball put in play by Chase S and Mason G, and a double by Ty E.

In the first inning, Kingwood Mavericks 9U got their offense started when Chase grounded out, scoring one run.

Kingwood Mavericks 9U notched eight runs in the second inning. The offensive firepower by Kingwood Mavericks 9U was led by Ty, Wyatt, Carter, Chase, Mason, and Finn, who each had RBIs in the inning.
